1. Peugeot Onyx
Despite the fact that it resembles a massive car shaped Duracell battery, the Peugeot Onyx is one stunning beast. Peugeot has made one thing explicitly clear with this concept, when it comes to speed they can do anything. The double bubble roof and the aluminium arches are a clear tribute to the RCZ. The Onyx is more or less a glimpse into the future and it only takes one look for you to understand that. The interiors are also as comfortable as can be with a massive doze of star trek.
2. Ferrari Sergio
Named after the man who led Pininfarina to heights, the Ferrari Sergio concept is a thing beauty and elegance. This sporty, elegant, compact sensual two-seater is a true vision of the future. It also mysteriously resembles a life sized HotWheels toy car with an engine. The engine under the hood is another marvel and a powerful marvel at that, strong enough to take this magnificent toy all the way to 320 Kmph and reach a hundred from stand still in less than 3.4 sec.
3. Kia Track’ster
When everybody is gunning for power Kia is focussing on performance with their three door concept hatchback, the Track’ster. The Track’ster has a pretty tough outlook and for some weird reason resembles a bulldog. The Bold paintwork, whiteout and inferno orange work all the more In making this car eye catching. The car also features a 247 horse power gasoline engine and yes you read it write the first time.
4. Guigiaro Parcour
The Guigiaro Parcour is named after an urban French sport of freestyle running. It looks a lot like what people in the nineties might imagine a future car would look like, with their tapering in the front and the tail lights. Now if you’re wondering why someone would name a car after French freestyle running, well it’s probably because the Parkour is actually meant to give an amazing driving experience and is basically meant for smooth handling at the highest speeds.
5. Spyker B6 Venator
The Spyker B6 Venator is another concept sports car and it’s as elegant as can be. Its sort of a past meets present kind of deal and is by all means a Spyker. The design is inspired or rather an homage to the Spyker ‘hunter’ fighter aircraft from the early 20th century. The stunning 3D LED tail lights very strongly resemble the nozzle of a jet engine from a modern fighter plane. Even the interiors of the car are pretty much like an aeroplane cockpit. If you had to pick two words for this four wheeled masterpiece, you would probably go for Bold and Beautiful.
6. Adam Rocks
This stunning concept from Opel, the Adam Rocks, is an absolute stroke of genius. This new Adam looks bolder and is far tougher than any other Adam that has been conceived till now. The Rocks concept has been designed with a single thought in mind, freedom. The wheelbase is higher and the car is fairly suited for off roads as well. The Rocks concept’s genius lies on its roof; it is completely fabric all the way to the C-pillars and retracts on the touch of a button. But unlike other cars the roof doesn’t retract in to the trunk but rather folds up on the top itself giving you complete access to the trunk. The genius in the roof is actually is intelligence. The roof automatically closes when it senses bad weather like rain.
7. Mitsubishi MiEV
The Mitsubishi MiEV probably the sleekest looking eco-friendly car there is. When most cars are headed for style, power, speed and god knows what not, the MiEV is all about being the eco-warrior. The car is electric and instead of petrol tank, it has a battery and a plug point where you can charge it. The car features energy efficient technology from top to bottom like LED tail lights, regenerative breaks and a light frame, all for conserving every single watt possible.
8. Citroen C4 cactus
The Citroen C4 Cactus looks like what an SUV might look like in a 90’s vision of the future. The bold square-ish design gives it that bold tough look without looking too aggressive. The air bumps on the sides and the headlights make it look all the more futury. The car features a complete digital interface and is meant to be a breeze for the driver to handle.
9. Mercedes-Benz AMG Gran Turismo
One look at the Mercedes-Benz AMG Gran Turismo and you will know that this car means business. It looks a lot like a big cat prowling and closing in on its prey, elegant, agile and fierce. The front grille is evidently inspired from the Mercedes-Benz 300SL and the prominent curves plus the powerful fender are signature Mercedes. The AMG Gran Turismo is one properly proportioned sports car and is definitely what the future might look like. The cockpit pretty much screams speed and the is the future of sports cars.
10. Bentley Exp 9F
Despite the fact that the Bentley EXP 9F looks like an old London taxi there is just something catchy about it. It might not be the prettiest of the lot it still manages to catch your eye and stand out of the crowd (that is if it’s not a crowd of old London taxis. It blends completely in that crowd). The EXP 9F has got a sort of a mixed reaction from the crowd but there is just something about this car that is fascinating, we’re still working on what it is though.
