1. St. Louis
St. Louis is the most dangerous cities in US with almost 2,070.1 crimes per 100,000 residents. It is an independent city on the eastern border of Missouri and has a population of 318,069 according to July 2011 reports.

Though Stockton has been in the news for various crimes, the offence rate in the city has increased 13.8 to 14.1 per 1000 people. 53 assassinations were accounted in 2011 and is a major hub for the drug cartel between Mexico, Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia.
10. New Heaven
With a historic record of crimes and offences, New Heaven’s scenario has worsen in the recent times 15.8 violent transgressions in every 1000 people. The city has the eighth highest rate of robbery and the fourth highest rate of assault in the U.S. with double in the number of slays last year thus becoming one in the line of top ten most dangerous cities in US.
