10. Alexander Litvinenko
Alexander was Russian Federal security services (FSB) agent. He was once arrested for exceeding his limits of authority at work. After many controversies he moved to London with his family and sent to asylum; he end up becoming writer there. He was hospitalized on 1st November 2006 for illness from radiation and he passes away on 23rd November 2006. That incident got worldwide broadcasting as there were many disputes about his end; no one was condemned for his life but Russian government was assumed guilty.

9. Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi was intense political leader of India while British rule. He broadens the voice for non-violence, civil rights and freedom. His leadership left the mark on politics and his acts of Hindu-Muslim while partition caused him his life. Many people didn’t appreciate his way of working. On 30th January 1948 he was gunned down by Nathuram Godese on the road in Delhi when he was coming back from prayer meeting.  According to him Gandhi was responsible for weakening India by supporting Pakistan moderately.

John Lennon was British rock n pop musician. He was one of the famous founders of the band Beatles.  He was covered with so much fame by his music and rebellious spirit and also with controversies by dogmatic and peace activism. His thoughts were not liked by many. He was in New York when he was shot four times by a man on the road. The assassin Mark David Chapman surrendered himself right there and the reason behind killing is still unclear.

7. Indira Gandhi
Indira Gandhi was the 2nd Prime Minister of India who attempted intensely for creating modernization in India. Her heroic works are still in the heart of people. She was the only prime minister of India who declared a ‘state of emergency’ considering ‘rule by decree’ and imprisoned after it. She was shot by her own two Sikh body-guards in the end of her last speech. Satwant singh and Beant singh who surrendered later were hanged. It was terrible loss for India.

He was shot by a white man who was against civil movement who later sentenced for 99 years in lockup.

    Topic is really interesting but research could have been better. Mahatma Gandhi’s description lacks few major points. Also i was looking for Benazir Bhutto in the list…..i think her assassination plays a major role in Pakistan’s political set-up……
